The Positioning, Air balls, Range and Throwing (PART) system was incorporated into Defensive Runs Saved before the 2020 MLB season
and dates back to the 2013 season.
The system replaces the previous Range & Positioning Runs Saved (R/P) metric for infielders with ART Runs Saved (ART),
which excludes Positioning from player DRS totals and allows for the evaluation of infield defense on shifts.
Before 2013, the ART column is populated by the previous R/P numbers.
